Introduction to the system

The Engagement and Payment System for Casual Helpers (or Casual Helper System) which aims at replacing the paper procedure 279/412 and 283/412 facilitates the establishment of engagements for casual helpers and subsequent payments to the casual helpers engaged during or after the completion of work.

The system composes of the Casual Helper Portal and the engagement and payment modules powered by the Microsoft Power Platform.

The engagement and payment modules allow department submitters to prepare engagements to hire particular persons, invite for engagement offer acceptance, submit engagements and payment for approval by department approvers etc.

The Casual Helper Portal provides a modern web interface for casual helpers to accept or reject engagement offers from departments and collect the necessary personal information of causal helpers required for central record.
