What is Change Request Review?
A: Any updates to the Programme on the Model Drive App, made by the Faculty or Programme manager, should be submitted to the Faculty or Admissions Office for their review and approval.
How does the change request review function operate?
A: To use the Change Request Review function, begin by selecting one of the Programmes. Then, click on "Create New Version" in the top menu, and proceed to edit your Programme Details. Afterward, click "Submit for Review". Make sure to include details of the updates or any necessary remarks before you submit it for review. The new version of the programme will be sent to Faculty and Admissions Office for approval.
Q: What is the process when the "Require Faculty Review" setting is enabled, and can this setting be adjusted before testing?
A: By default, the "Required Faculty Review" setting is activated. This means that when you submit a change request, it is first reviewed by the Faculty Managers. If they approve, it is then sent to the AO for a secondary review. However, before testing, Faculties have the option to adjust this setting in the Faculty page.
What happens if I do not enable the "Require Faculty Review" option in the Faculty page in the Power app?
A: If you do not enable this option, the change request will bypass the Faculty Managers and will be sent directly to the AO for review.
How can I check the Review Status?
A: You can find the status as "Submitted for Review" on the Programme page. Also, The status of your change request can be checked by selecting "Change Request" from the side menu on Model Drive App.
Q: Is it possible to view my previous versions?
A: Yes, you can access your previous versions by navigating to the 'Programme > General' tab and selecting 'All Programme Version'. However, please note that updates cannot be made to the previous records.
Q: Is it possible to make additional adjustments to the change request?
A: Once the change request is submitted, the Programme's status will be updated to "Submitted for Review". Users are restricted from making any additional modifications unless the change request is either withdrawn or cancelled.
Can the Programme Manager cancel the "Change Request" before it is either accepted or rejected?
A: The "Change Request" can be cancelled by the Programme Manager at any point before the request is either accepted or rejected.
Is it possible to submit multiple change requests simultaneously?
A: Each Programme is limited to one change request at a time. If you need to modify the content after submission, you must wait until the current request has been approved before you can submit a new one. Simultaneous multiple change request submissions are not permitted.
How will I know when my changes to a Programme have been approved or rejected?
A: You will receive an email notification once your changes have been approved. This ensures you are always informed about the status of your change request.
What happens if my change request is rejected?
A: Users who submitted the request and related Programme Manager will receive notification with reason for withholding, and Programme status will be updated to “Draft” to allow users to make further changes.
Who can review the changes?
A: The Programme Manager, Faculty Manager and the Admissions Office Admins can review the modifications either by clicking on the link provided in the change request review notification email or by going to the "Change Requests" section in the side menu of Model Driven App.
What happens when the change request is accepted by the Admissions Office?
A: If the Admissions Office approves the change request, the status of the programme will be updated to "Published". The status of the original Programme record will be changed to "Obsolete". Upon approval from the Admissions Office, the revised content will be automatically made live on the site.
