# Weather

The Portal displays weather information including the instant temperature and weather icons synced with HK Observatory website.

The Weather Widget typically display important weather information such as temperature, UV Index, weather warning, and weather report.

3. **Weather Warnings and Signals**: The warnings are issued by the Hong Kong Observatory to the public. For details, please visit <https://www.hko.gov.hk/en/wservice/warning/details.htm>.
4. **UV Index**: Real-time UV Index (past 15-minute mean) from HKO

To enhance the visual appeal and user-friendliness of these widgets, various weather icons are used to represent different weather conditions.Here is an explanation of when to show different icons based on the weather conditions:
