What is Recycling Campaigns

Recycling campaigns are strategic initiatives designed to promote and enhance recycling actions among HKU staff and students. These campaigns are set up to incentivize recycling efforts by scaling up the recycling points accumulated over a specific period.

Essentially, a recycling campaign is a logical setup within the CMS that temporarily increases the points users can earn for their recycling activities, making recycling more rewarding during the campaign period. However, it is important to note that recycling campaigns are purely a backend configuration and do not have any visible presence or related information within the GreenU app. As such, users will not see any direct references to these campaigns in the app. To effectively promote recycling campaigns, administrators are encouraged to utilize the promotion function within the CMS.
