# Introduction of HKU Portal

## What is HKU Portal?

The HKU Portal, also known as the Portal, is a web-based intranet for staff and students, serving as a one-stop digital workplace. Integrating with numerous University systems through **Single Sign-On** **(SSO)**, it offers a user-friendly and easy-to-access interface for all members of the University.  

The Portal enables users to access a wide range of centrally provided IT services, including those offered under the **Student Information System** **(SIS)**, **learning management systems and Library services**, all through a high-speed campus network.
