A: Open the HKU App and tap the Attendance icon. Go to the "Current" tab and follow the instructions:
Registered events/classes: Your attendance is recorded automatically when you arrive during the check-in period.
Sit-in and Public events: Tap “CHECK IN” in the app.

A: If you're unable to check in, try the following troubleshooting steps:
Turn on the Location service and grant it to HKU App.
Close and restart the app.
Try changing your location within the classroom (for example, move to a different seat).
A: Some classes may not appear in the "Upcoming Events" section because they have not registered your course enrollment in the Attendance system. These classes might only become visible for your check-in during the actual event period. If you don’t see your class listed, it may not be set up to use the Attendance system to take attendance.
A: If Bluetooth is enabled but check-in is still unsuccessful, there might be connectivity issues or app glitches. Try the troubleshooting steps mentioned above, and if the issue persists, contact your lecturer or teaching assistants for assistance. They can help ensure your attendance is recorded accurately.
A: Yes, you can view your attendance history by selecting the "Previous Record" tab in the app. This section displays records from the past 180 days.
A: The "Previous Record" tab displays your attendance records from the last 180 days.
A: Type your keywords (for example, “testing”) into the search box. After entering your search term, a list of relevant results will be displayed, ordered from latest to oldest.
