# Guide to Electronic Document Delivery via Parchment

**Applicable to:** Applicants from universities in the United States and other institutions using the Parchment Exchange network.

**Step 1: Access Your Documents:**

1\.      Log in to [**Parchment.com**](https://www.parchment.com/). If you haven't registered, create an account.

2\.      Click **Transcripts** or **Degree Certification** (or **Orders** in some views).

3\.      You need to find the school that holds your transcript:

* Click "**+ Add Another Institution**" if your school is not already listed on your dashboard.
* Enter your school's name and click **Search**.
* Select your school and complete the **Enrollment Information** (e.g., status, dates attended, name while enrolled) if prompted.

**Step 2: Select Destination**

1\.      Click **Order** (or "**Send Transcript**") next to your school name.

2\.      On the destination page, select **Academic Organization** (or **Academic Institution**).

3\.      Search for "**The University of Hong Kong**".

4\.      Select "**The University of Hong Kong**"

**Step 3: Delivery Details & Application ID**

1\.      Ensure the **Delivery Method** is set to **Electronic**.

2\.      **Application Number:** In the "Application Number" field provided by Parchment, you must enter your **HKU Application Number** (e.g., 11900xxxxx)

*Important: Failing to include this may delay the matching of your documents.*

3\.      **Processing Time**: Select "**Send Now**" (unless you are waiting for final grades, in which case select "**Hold for Grades**").

**Step 4: Consent & Payment**

1\.      Sign the **FERPA Privacy Rights consent form** electronically if this is your first time ordering.

2\.      Click **Checkout** and complete the payment process.

3\.      You can track the status of your order in your **Parchment dashboard**.
